LET THE PLAYERS PLAY, LET THE FOOTBALL DO THE TALKING!
The Witney & District Youth Football League is proud to support the FA's Silent Support Weekend, and all clubs across the league are required to take part.
This is a fantastic opportunity to create a positive and enjoyable matchday experience for our young players, allowing them to make their own decisions, grow in confidence and enjoy their football without instructions being shouted from the sidelines.
So what does Silent Support Weekend mean?
Spectators: Show your support through applause only. No shouting instructions or comments from the sidelines.
Coaches: You can still communicate with your players and offer encouragement and guidance.
Players: Enjoy your football, express yourselves, make decisions and play with freedom.
We ask every club, coach, parent and spectator to fully embrace the weekend and help make it a positive experience for everyone involved.
Remember, it's their game, their decisions and their opportunity to shine!
